There is disclosed a conductor (10) having a conductive element (12) and a covering (14) surrounding at least a portion of the conductive element (12). Preferably, the covering (14) has an inner portion (34) and an outer portion (36) formed of different materials such that the melting point of the inner portion (34) is higher than the melting point of the outer portion (36). The conductor (10) is particularly useful for forming heaters (80), which may be integrated into a seat (90) of an automotive vehicle.

Cette invention concerne un conducteur (10) comportant un élément conducteur (12) ainsi qu'un revêtement (14) entourant au moins une partie de l'élément conducteur (12). Ce revêtement (14) comprend de préférence une partie interne (34) et une partie externe (36) constituées de matériaux différents de façon que le point de fusion de la partie interne (34) soit supérieur à celui de la partie externe (36). Ce conducteur (10) est particulièrement utilisé pour former des éléments chauffants (80) qui peuvent être intégrés dans un siège (90) d'un véhicule automobile.
