A covering (2) for a portion of a human head (16) and its method of use is disclosed. The covering (2) is an envelope formed from a flexible material and provided with a mouth (4), said material defining the mouth (4) of the envelope. The length of the edge (6) of the material defining the mouth (4) being at least partially elastically extendable. The envelope and the mouth are dimensioned to allow a first portion (8) of the envelope to be placed over the top and back portion of a head (16) and a second portion (10) of the envelope to extend forwards of the head (16), such that on twisting of the second portion (10) of the envelope through at least 180~ about an axis (18) extending forwards from the head, part of the second portion (10) of the envelope may be caused to overlie the first portion (8) of the envelope on the head.

L'invention porte sur une coiffure (2) servant à couvrir une partie de la tête d'un être humain (16) et sur son procédé d'utilisation. Cette coiffure (2) est une enveloppe constituée d'un matériau souple et pourvue d'une ouverture (4), ledit matériau définissant l'ouverture (4) de l'enveloppe. La longueur du bord (6) du matériau définissant l'ouverture (4) est au moins en partie élastiquement extensible. Les dimensions de l'enveloppe et de l'ouverture permettent de disposer un premier élément (8) de l'enveloppe sur la partie supérieure arrière de la tête (16), un second élément (10) de l'enveloppe s'étendant depuis l'avant de la tête (16). Ainsi, lorsqu'on fait pivoter le second élément (10) de l'enveloppe d'au moins 180· sur un axe (18) orienté vers l'avant de la tête, une partie du second élément (10) de l'enveloppe recouvre le premier élément (8) de l'enveloppe disposé sur la tête.
