ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Covering for photothermal conversion. It comprises an infrared radiation reflecting substrate, a first layer deposited on the substrate and formed from a metallic material, and a second layer deposited on the first layer and constituted by a solar radiation absorbing an amorphous material, such as amorphous carbon. The substrate can be formed from an infrared radiation reflecting layer, deposited on a primary substrate. Application to the photothermal conversion of solar energy.
