As a coating element, in particular for sheet panels in vehicles, a single- piece hollow profile (1) obtained by a blowing process and designed to be replaceably mounted on the sheet panel (2) is disclosed. The hollow profile has securing elements (3) on its rearface, recesses for them being provided in said sheet panel, as well as an arrangement of profile batches on its length. The securing elements may be inserted into the hollow space, which is filled with foam. The inventive device ensures, especially after filling the hollow space with foam, adequate energy absorption so that any impact causes in principle no distortion of the hollow profile.
Comme élément d'habillage, notamment pour éléments support de tôle de véhicules, il est proposé, selon la présente invention, un profilé creux (1) en une seule pièce, fabriqué selon le procédé par soufflage et conçu pour être fixé démontable sur l'élément support de tôle (2). La face arrière du profilé creux présente des éléments de fixation (3) auxquels correspondent des logements prévus dans ledit élément support de tôle, ainsi que des profils disposés par lots dans le sens de la longueur. Les éléments de fixation peuvent être intégrés dans l'espace creux que l'on remplit avec de la mousse. Avec le dispositif selon l'invention, notamment si l'on procède au moussage de l'espace creux, on obtient un absorption suffisante de l'énergie. En cas d'impact, il ne se produit en principe aucune déformation du profilé creux.
