ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A pliable covering sheet comprising a support net and a covering, whereby the net and the covering are glued together. The yarn of the support net can be synthetic monofilous or multifilous yarn of polyamide or polyester, while the covering preferably comprises polyvinylchloride. The net and the covering are glued together by means of heat-setting glue in such a manner that the glue, after having hardened, surrounds the net yarn in a substantially thick layer which extends at least 260° around the periphery of the yarn, whereby no adhesive effect is needed between the yarn and the glue as the glue achieves a "form-closed connection". During gluing, the glue has a temperature which is higher than the softening temperature of the covering material but lower than the softening temperature of the net yarn.
