A device for providing a physical barrier between a person practicing resuscitation on a CPR training manikin head, thus reducing the possibility of disease transmission. This device includes a disposable CPR manikin combination barrier-airway-lung bag, an insertion tool, and the placement of an opening in the head of a manikin of sufficient size and shape to accommodate the device. The device when inserted covers the manikin head's face, mouth, interior, and part or all of the exterior and may serve as a simulated lung. The invention may also be used as face- mouth-head-airway barrier device when the bottom of the bag is unsealed and not utilized as a simulated lung.
