A candle making compound for making creamy candles is comprised of a combination of mineral oil, generally liquid paraffin, and petrolatum, also known as petroleum gelly. Petrolatum and mineral oil admixed at a temperature of between 40C and 90C to create a mixture and the mineral oil comprises between 5 to 30 percent of the mixture.
