A composition comprising one or more high molecular weight resins and one or more low molecular weight resins in a ratio of about 1:99 to about 99:1 based on polymer actives, wherein said high molecular weight resins are selected from the group consisting of glyoxylated polyacrylamide, crosslinked polyaminoamide and polyaminoamide-epihalohydrin resins having a molec-ular weight of about 100,000 to about 5,000,000 Dalton and the low molecular weight resins are selected from the group consisting of glyoxylated polyacrylamide, crosslinked polyaminoamide and polyaminoamide- epihalohydrin resins having a molecular weight of less than about 100,000 Dalton and wherein the mole ratio of epihalohydrin to secondary nitrogen atoms in the high and low molecular weight polyaminoamide-epihalohydrin resins is less than about 0.5.and use of the composition for creping paper webs.
L'invention concerne une composition comprenant une ou plusieurs résines de haut poids moléculaire et une ou plusieurs résines de bas poids moléculaire dans un rapport d'environ 1/99 à 99/1 rapporté aux composés actifs des polymères, lesdites résines de haut poids moléculaire étant choisies dans l'ensemble consistant en résines de polyacrylamide glyoxylé, de polyaminoamide réticulé et de polyaminoamide-épihalohydrine dont le poids moléculaire est compris entre environ 100 000 et environ 5 000 000 daltons et les résines de bas poids moléculaire étant choisies dans l'ensemble consistant en résines de polyacrylamide glyoxylé, de polyaminoamide réticulé et de polyaminoamide-épihalohydrine dont le poids moléculaire est inférieur à environ 100 000 daltons, et le rapport molaire d'épihalohydrine aux atomes d'azote secondaires dans les résines de polyaminoamide-épihalohydrine de haut et de bas poids moléculaires étant inférieur à environ 0,5. L'invention concerne également l'utilisation de la composition pour le crêpage de bandes de papier.
