Cette invention se rapporte à un procédé de fabrication de produits à base de papier crêpé, consistant à appliquer sur une surface sécheuse un polymère semi-cristallin filmogène et une résine cationique non thermodurcissable, cette résine se caractérisant par une structure fortement ramifiée n'ayant pas de fonction de segment de liaison interne réactif et comportant un squelette prépolymère constitué de polyamidoamine à segment de liaison interne. Cette invention présente également un procédé de fabrication de produits à base de papier crêpé, consistant à appliquer sur une surface sécheuse un polymère semi-cristallin filmogène, une résine cationique non thermodurcissable, laquelle se caractérise par une structure fortement ramifiée n'ayant pas de fonction de segment de liaison interne réactif et comportant un squelette prépolymère constitué de polyamidoamine à segment de liaison interne, ainsi qu'un plastifiant optionnel.
