Creping and cutting procedure and equipment, comprising a creping doctor (1) bearing a blade (2) which carries out the creping; a bracket (12) which can pivot about a pivot axis (5) at the geometrical centre of which the creping blade (2) operates; first drive means (3) which from the bracket (12) give rise to rotation of the creping doctor (1) about a pivot axis (4); and second drive means varying the angle (6) acting on the bracket (12) and causing it to rotate about the pivot axis (5), in such a way that with only two doctors (1), (7) it is possible to carry out creping operations, blade change, cutting and cleaning. Application in machinery for the manufacture of paper.

L'invention porte sur un procédé et sur une installation de crêpage et de découpage qui comprend une racle de crêpage (1) portant une lame (2) qui effectue l'opération de crêpage; un crochet (12) qui peut pivoter sur un axe de pivot (5) dans le centre géométrique duquel agit la lame de crêpage (2); de premiers moyens d'entraînement (3) qui, depuis le crochet (12) permettent de produire la rotation de la racle de crêpage (1) sur un axe de pivot (4); et des deuxièmes moyens d'entraînement de modification de l'angle (6) qui agissent sur le crochet (12) et provoquent sa rotation sur l'axe de pivot (5), de sorte qu'il est possible d'effectuer les opérations de crêpage, de changement de lame, de découpage et de nettoyage en utilisant seulement deux racles (1), (7).
