The invention provides improved crib bar padding. The invention provides padding to each bar of a crib individually allowing improved airflow through the crib to address concerns that have caused experts to advise against using traditional flat panel style crib bumper pads. The invention completely pads the crib bar to help prevent bruises which can occur when infants are old enough to raise themselves up above the level of the traditional flat panel style crib bumper pads. The crib bar padding forms a small diameter so that unlike flat panel style crib bumper pads, it is impossible for infants to smother themselves against the padding. Infants cannot use the crib bar padding to help them escape the crib.
