The hanger support bracket (30) is fixedly secured to the end post (14) of the bedstead (12). The assembly (10) further includes a hanger mounting bracket (28) for retaining a hanger (26) on the spring frame (20). The hanger mounting bracket (28) completely encloses the hanger (26). The assembly (10) also includes a sinuous spring assembly (20) for supporting a mattress (24) thereon.
