A woven/knit fabric which becomes rugged upon humidification and loses the ruggedness upon drying. The fabric comprises: crimped fibers (A) whose percentage crimp decreases upon humidification; and fibers (B) comprising non- crimped fibers and/or crimped fibers whose percentage crimp does not substantially change upon humidification. The percentage change in ruggedness of this woven/knit fabric as calculated from the thickness of the dry fabric (TD) and the thickness of the humidified fabric (TW) using the following equation: Percentage change in ruggedness (%) = ((TW-TD)/TD)~100 is 5% or higher.
L'invention concerne un tissu tissé/tricoté devenant jarreux à l'humidité et perdant sa jarreusité au séchage. Le tissu comprend : des fibres bouclées (A) dont le pourcentage de bouclage décroît à l'humidité ; et des fibres (B) comprenant des fibres non bouclées et/ou des fibres bouclées dont le pourcentage de bouclage ne varie sensiblement pas à l'humidité. Le changement proportionnel de jarreusité du tissu tissé/tricoté calculé à partir de l'épaisseur du tissu sec (TD) et de l'épaisseur du tissu humidifié (TW) à l'aide de l'équation suivante : Changement proportionnel de jarreusité (%) = ((TW-TD)/TD)×100 est supérieur ou égal à 5%.
