CROP CONDITIONING ROLL AND ASSEMBLY THEREOF Abstract of the Disclosure A roll, suitable for use in a roll assembly, and such a roll assembly for use on a crop conditioning machine, said roll assembly comprises at least two low hysteresis, resilient, cylindrical microcellular polyure- thane rolls, each roll having an axially centered rigid core, said rolls disposed in an adjacent parallel relationship, adapted to especially crimp and crush crops. The poly- urethane itself in combination with the roll provides an enhanced low hysteresis and, therefore, enables the shaped roll to have utility in a crop conditioning roll assembly.
