A crop divider device comprises a roller which is supported in an upright orientation ahead of one of the wheels of a high clearance agricultural vehicle, for example a sprayer. The roller is coupled to a bracket which carries the roller on the vehicle at a top end of the roller only so that the bottom end is freely suspended and freely rotatable in its mounted position. A lower portion of the roller is frangible to prevent excessive damage to the crop divider device when particularly large or relatively immoveable debris is encountered in use.
