ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE This invention relates to a skiing device, especially useful for cross-country grass skiing, comprising a ski body having roller engaging guide surfaces defining an endless or closed track consisting of an upper longitu- dinal track section, a lower longitudinal track section and end track sections which interconnect the two longitudinal sections at the front and rear ends of the ski body. Running members are guidingly supported by the body for movement around the endless track. The running members each have rollers which rollingly engage the guide surfaces and each have tread surfaces on the outer side distant from the body. The lower longitudinal track section comprises an intermediate track member the underside surface of which forms a portion of the roller engaging guide surfaces. The upper longitudinal track section is provided with an upper track member interposed between the rollers and the tread surfaces of respective running members, and the underside surface of the upper track member constitutes a portion of the roller engaging guide surfaces.
