Disclosed are novel cross-linking agents, which when reacted with thermosetting resins such as polyester polyols, improve mechanical characteristics such as resistance to scratching, acid, and crystallization. The cross-linking agents are formed from (A) an aliphatic or cycloaliphatic polyisocyanate having 2-6 free isocyanate groups, (B) a secondary 3-aminopropyltrialkoxysilane and (C) another blocking agent.
