A device to draw the bow string of a crossbow is disclosed, the device being intended for use in conjunction with crossbows of the type including a longitudinal barrel having a recessed track therein. The device comprises a housing and an elongate arm both extendable from and rectilinearly movable with respect to the housing in at least one direction coaxial with the longitudinal axis of the arm. The arm is further provided with a fork for engaging the crossbow bow string, as well as an aligning pin slidingly receivable within the cross bow track such that the path of travel of the arm is substantially parallel to the longitudinal axis of the track.
Dispositif pour allonger la corde d'une arbalète utilisable en conjonction avec les arbalètes du type incluant un tube longitudinal muni d'un rail en retrait. Le dispositif comprend un logement et un bras allongé se prolongeant à partir du logement et qui s'y déplace en rectiligne dans au moins une direction coaxiale avec l'axe longitudinal du bras. Le bras comprend également une fourche pour engager la corde de l'arbalète, ainsi qu'une tige d'alignement qui est reçue en coulissant dans le rail de l'arbalète de façon que le trajet de déplacement du bras soit essentiellement parallèle à l'axe longitudinal du rail.
