ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A polyimide polymeric material of a crosslinked combination of two linear aromatic polyimide polymers is disclosed. The base resin is a polyimide polymer having at least one ketonic carbonyl per repeat unit and the cross- linker resin is a polyimide polymer having amine end-groups. The ratio of the amount of base resin used to the amount of cross-linker resin is above 2. The crosslinked polyimide polymeric material exhibits a retention of physical pro- perties at high temperatures and finds particular utility applications e.g. as a matrix for adhesive particles in high speed grinding wheels especially suited for dry grinding operations.
