This invention relates to crosslinked polymer foam compositions of an ethylene vinyl acetate copolymer, an acid copolymer or ionomer, and a crosslinking agent. Such compositions exhibit enhanced melt strength, as well as lower density and compression set. They are especially useful as midsoles or insoles for footwear.

L'invention concerne des compositions de mousse de polymère réticulée contenant un copolymère acétate éthylène de vinyle, un copolymère ou ionomère acide et un agent de réticulation. Ces compositions présentent une haute résistance à la chaleur, une faible densité et une rémanence à la compression réduite. Elles sont notamment utilisées comme semelles intercalaires ou semelles intérieures pour chaussures.
