The invention relates to a polymer composition that includes a branched alkene which is cationically polymerizable as well as a glass-forming comonomer and/or a vinyl comonomer containing benzocyclobutene as the pendant group. The structure of the polymer composition can take various forms: linear random copolymer, linear block copolymer, star random copolymer, star block copolymer, and other hyperbranched polymers. The copolymer composition can undergoes crosslinking at elevated temperatures (preferably above 180 0C).

L'invention porte sur une composition de polymère qui comprend un alcène ramifié qui est polymérisable par voie cationique ainsi qu'un comonomère formant un verre et/ou un comonomère vinylique contenant du benzocyclobutène comme groupe pendant. La structure de la composition de polymère peut prendre diverses formes de : copolymère aléatoire linéaire, copolymère séquencé linéaire, copolymère aléatoire en étoile, copolymère séquencé en étoile, et autres polymères hyper-ramifiés. La composition de copolymère peut subir une réticulation à des températures élevées (de préférence au-dessus de 180°C).
