Porous particles of crosslinked PVC are disclosed. The particles are skinless and have a fast powder mix time. Processes to produce the novel particles are also disclosed. In particular the resin particles have the following characteristics: (a) said particles are skinless as evidenced by an absence of a substantially con- tinuous pericellular membrane; (b) a complex viscosity of from about 0.9 x 10 5 poise to about 1000.0 x 10 5 poise as measured at 210°C; and (c) a tan .delta. of less than 1.0 as measured at 210°C.
