A crowd rope (30) take-up mechanism is mounted on the end of a shovel handle (20) remote on the end of a shovel handle remote from the dipper bracket. The mechanism includes a cylinder (40) with external screw (41) threads engaged by a nut wheel (50). The cylinder mounts a sheave (37) that received a loop of the crowd rope (30). A worm gear (55) engages gear teeth (54) on the outside of the nut wheel (50). The cylinder (40) is restrained against rotation and the nut wheel (50) is captured longitudinally so that rotation of the worm gear (50) by a power wrench is translated into longitudinal movement of the cylinder (40) and sheave (37). The worm gear is locked against rotation by a removable plug (60).
l'invention concerne un mécanisme tendeur de câble de dispositif de creusage (30) monté à l'extrémité du bras (20) d'une excavatrice, à distance de l'étrier du godet. Ce mécanisme comprend un cylindre (40) pourvu de tiges filetées (41) extérieures sur lesquelles vient s'enclencher une roue à écrou (50). Ce cylindre est pourvu d'un réa (37) qui reçoit une boucle du câble du mécanisme de creusage (30). Une vis sans fin (55) s'enclenche sur les dents (54) extérieures de la roue à écrou (50). Le cylindre (40) ne peut tourner et la roue à écrou (50) est capturée longitudinalement de sorte que la rotation de la vis sans fin (55) par clé mécanique est transmise en un mouvement longitudinal du cylindre (40) et du réa (37). Une cheville démontable (60) bloque la vis sans fin pour en empêcher sa rotation.
