The invention concerns a blade crusher whereof the operation combines a crushing action with double shearing effect along two orthogonal spatial planes, for example vertical and horizontal planes. Said crusher comprises, for example, at least two successive pairs of mobile toothed blades forming a jaw, each pair consisting of two opposite corresponding blades (1, 2) driven in a reciprocating motion spacing (f2) them and bringing them together (f1) to be urged to stop again each other when the teeth are engaged into one another. Part at least of the blade (1, 2) teeth have a surface oriented perpendicular to the reciprocating motion of the blades, and the second pair of blades sliding against the first pair of blades to be urged to stop in a position offset relatively to the stop position of the first pair of toothed blades. Fixed blades can be interposed between the mobile blades.

On décrit un broyeur à lames dont le fonctionnement combine un effet d'écrasement à un double effet de cisaillement selon deux plans orthogonaux de l'espace, par exemple verticaux et horizontaux. Ce broyeur comprend par exemple au moins deux couples successifs de lames dentées mobiles faisant mâchoires, chaque couple étant constitué de deux lames (1, 2) dentées correspondantes, en vis-à-vis, animées d'un mouvement de va-et-vient en éloignement (f2) et rapprochement (f1) pour venir buter l'une contre l'autre quand les dents s'engagent les unes dans les autres. Une partie au moins des dents des lames (1, 2) présentent une face orientée perpendiculairement au plan du mouvement de va-et-vient des lames, et le deuxième couple de lames glissant contre le premier couple de lames pour venir en butée dans une position est décalée par rapport à la position de butée du premier couple de lames dentées. Des lames fixes peuvent être intercalées entre les lames mobiles.
