ABSTRACT The crystalline anhydrous form of [3S-[3.alpha.(Z), 4 .beta.]]-3-[[(2-amino-4-thiazolyl) [(1-carboxy-1- methylethoxy)imino]acetyl]amino]-4-methyl-2-oxo- 1-azetidinesulfonic acid is prepared. The compound is useful as a pharmaceutical agent for administration to a patient having a gram - negative infection.
