The present invention disclosed a crystalline of S-zopiclone having a powder X-Ray diffraction spectrum using Cu-Ka radiation with characteristic peaks expressed in terms of 2.theta. at about 11.08°, about 12.38°, about 15.86°, about 17.88°, about 19.98° and about 20.58°; a DSC thermogram with a peak at about 207.7°C and an infrared absorption spectrum (IR) with characteristic peaks at about 3078cm-1, about 2942-2838cm-1, about 2790cm-1, about 1716cm-1, about 1463cm-1, about 1372cm-1 and about 757cm-1. The present invention also disclosed a method for preparing the crystalline of eszopiclone, its pharmaceutical composition and its use in preparing a medicament for treating sleep disorder.
L'invention concerne un cristal d'eszopiclone dont la diffractométrie de rayons X avec un angle de 2? et des rayonnements Cu-Ka présente des pics à environ 11,08°, 15,86°, 17,88°, 19,98° et 20,58°; le spectre de l'analyse calorimétrique différentielle du cristal présente un pic à environ 207,7°C; le spectre d'absorption infrarouge du cristal présente des pics à environ 3078cm-1, 2942~2838cm-1, 2790cm-1, 1716cm-1, 1463cm-1, 1372cm-1 et 757cm-1. L'invention concerne également le procédé de préparation du cristal d'eszopiclone, sa composition pharmaceutique et son utilisation dans la préparation de médicaments traitant les troubles du sommeil.
