ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A crystalline poly-4-methyl-1-pentene composition is disclosed; comprising poly-4-methyl-1-pentene having incorporated therein a polymer of a compound represented by formula (I): CH2=CH(CH2)nR (I) wherein R represents a cyclic hydrocarbon group; and n is an integer of from 0 to 10, in an amount corresponding to 0.05 to 10000 ppm by weight of the monomer unit derived from the compound represented by formula (I). The composition has a high rate of crystallization and a high crystallization temperature. - 14 -
