-22- Cuff Assembly for Protective Garment Abstract of the Disclosure A cuff assembly is provided for the hand opening end of the sleeve of a protective garment. The cuff assembly ensures tight fit and retention of the cuff within a subsequently donned glove. Specifically, the cuff assembly allows for passage therethrough of four digits and the adjacent portions of the palm of the wearer and is further provided with thumb restraining means which allow the passage of the thumb therethrough but restrain the remainder of the wearer's hand.
