Improvements in or relating to the Cultivation of Conifers Abstract Disclosed is a method of producing embryogenic conifer callus, comprising culturing somatic tissue capable of growth derived from a conifer so as to form non- embryogenic callus and then culturing said non-embryogenic callus in the presence of a nurse culture so as to produce embryogenic callus. Embryogenic callus derived in this way can be used to produced plantlets by known techniques.
