The container for a culture medium comprises a dish or tub and a lid, and has an integrated geometry for air suction and air conduction. The container is useful for analysis of air bacteria according to the impaction method. An adapted cascade connecting hood, which is disposed in each case between two successive containers, makes possible a cascade-like serial arrangement of a plurality, typically three, culture medium containers, which, with suction apertures of differing size, allows a differentiation according to particle size when analyzing air bacteria.
