Abstract of the Disclosure A method for removing cumene vapor from a cumene-containing vapor stream comprises passing the vapor stream through a bed of a substantially dry hydrophobic, macroreticular, water-insoluble, crosslinked polymer containing from 20% to 100% by weight of the polymer, of divinylbenzene or a copolymer of divinylbenzene, the balance being ethylvinylbenzene or styrene or mixtures thereof but not more than 50% of either ethylvinylbenzene or styrene, until the capacity of the polymer or copolymer to remove cumene is substantially exhausted. Thereafter, the cumene is desorbed from the mass or bed of the polymer or copolymer by passing steam through said mass or bed. Without drying, the mass or bed is then ready for reuse.
