A drinking cup assembly(10) having a cup(12) having an open end, a cap(114) to enclose the open end, the cap having a drinking spout(116) and an air vent(118) and a pair of mating surfaces(117,119) that align with the drinking spout(116) and the air vent(118), and a removable flow control valve(20) to engage the mating surfaces. The cap has a retaining mechanism(160) that in conjunction with one mating surface secures in place the flow control valve when not in use.

L'invention concerne un ensemble gobelet (10) de boisson comportant un gobelet (12) dont une extrémité est ouverte, et une capsule (114) pour fermer l'extrémité ouverte. Ladite capsule comporte un bec (116) et un évent (118) ainsi que deux surfaces de contact (117, 119) en alignement avec lesdits bec (116) et évent (118). En outre, une soupape (20) de régulation de débit amovible est en prise avec lesdites surfaces de contact. La capsule est pourvue d'un mécanisme de retenue (160) qui, en liaison avec une surface de contact, maintient en place la soupape de régulation de débit lorsqu'elle n'est pas en fonction.
