A cup holder assembly uniquely designed to be secured to shopping cart. The holder is made of a continuous round metal alloy bar and covered in a chrome finish. The end result to look as part of the shopping cart in both structure and colour. The metal bar is shaped in such a way as to have a circular opening where the cups fit in. The holder is designed to support the cup at the top or lip of the cup, with the lower end of the cup hanging below. The holder is shaped such that the end opposite to the circular opening is a loop that fits over the top of the shopping cart. A bolt that fastens two plates together further supports the holder and restricts its movement.
