A curable composite material has a thermosettable resin matrix and a continuous-fibre reinforcement impregnated by said matrix. The fibres of the reinforcement are sized with an aromatic thermoplastic resin, preferably selected from polysulphones, imidised polysulphones and polyisoimides.
