A curable composition comprising Component (A) a blocked polyisocyanate compound, Component (B) an active hydrogen compound having at least 2 active hydrogen atom-containing groups in the molecule, and Component (C) a catalyst expressed by the following formula (1), (R1, R2, R3,R4 ) N+ Y- (1) wherein R1, R2, R3 and R4 denote hydrocarbon groups of 1 to 18 carbon atoms which are non-reactive to isocyanates and may be the same or different groups each other, and said groups may form heterocyclic rings via oxygen or nitrogen atoms, and Y- denotes an anion of a hydroxide, an alkoxide, an aryloxy or a carbonate, or an anion of a carboxylate, a sulfonate, a phosphate or a borate which may contain hydrocarbon groups. The composition is suitable for chipping--resistant coating material for automobiles.

Cette invention se rapporte à une composition durcissable, qui peut servir dans l'industrie automobile comme revêtement résistant à l'écaillage et qui comprend un composé de polyisocyanate bloqué (A), un composé (B) ayant au moins deux groupes hydrogène actifs dans sa molécule, ainsi qu'un catalyseur (C) représenté par la formule générale (R1, R2, R3, R4)N<+>Y<->, où R<1>, R<2>, R<3> et R<4> représentent des groupes hydrocarbure non réactifs à l'isocyanate, qui peuvent être identiques ou différents entre eux, ou peuvent former un hétérocycle par l'intermédiaire de l'oxygène ou de l'azote; et Y représente hydroxyle, alcoxyde, aryloxyde, carbonate ou carboxylate, sulfonate, phosphate ou borate, possédant chacun un groupe hydrocarbure.
