An apparatus and method for introducing material into an injection site of a patient is disclosed. The device includes a cannula (30) and a carrier (20). The cannula is inserted into an injection site of a patient. The carrier is connected to an injector containing a volume of material. Material may be pre-loaded into the carrier so that the material is delivered to a distal end of the carrier from the injector and the carrier is thus pre-loaded with material. A portion of the distal end of the preloaded carrier is inserted into the cannula and material is delivered to an injection site. The carrier comprises a supply section (120) operable to receive curable material, and an inner section (140) proximal to the patient. The supply section can be rotatable with respect to the longitudinal axis of the inner section, or the inner surface of the inner section may be smooth.
L'invention concerne un appareil et un procédé permettant d'introduire un matériau dans un site d'injection mis en place sur le corps d'un patient. Le dispositif comporte une canule et un support. La canule est insérée dans le site d'insertion mis en place sur le corps d'un patient. Le support est relié à un injecteur contenant un volume de matériau. Le matériau peut être chargé préalablement dans le support de façon à le délivrer vers une extrémité distale du support à partir de l'injecteur; le support est donc chargé préalablement du matériau. Une partie de l'extrémité distale du support chargé préalablement est insérée dans la canule, et le matériau est délivré vers un site d'injection. La section d'alimentation peut être rotative par rapport à l'axe longitudinal de la section intérieure.
