Abstract The present invention provides a low viscosity curable resin composition and coating composition containing the same which has a decreased solvent content. The coating composition provides a cured film having not only excellent acid resistance but also good weather resistance and mar resistance without any adverse effects on the environment. The curable resin composition comprises (a) a hydroxyl and carboxyl group containing silicone polymer, (b) a carboxyl and carboxylate group containing polymer, and (c) a hydroxyl and epoxy group containing polymer. The cured film obtained from the coating composition of the present invention is suitable for use as an automotive top coating composition.
La présente invention porte sur une composition à base de résine réticulable, de faible viscosité, et sur une composition de revêtement de ce type, à teneur réduite en solvant. La composition de revêtement donne une pellicule réticulée possédant non seulement une excellente résistance aux acides, mais également une bonne résistance aux intempéries et à la dégradation, sans effet nuisible sur l'environnement. La composition à base de résine réticulable comprend : a) un polymère de type silicone renfermant des groupes hydroxyle et carboxyle; b) un polymère renfermant des groupes carboxyle et carboxylate; c) un polymère renfermant des groupes hydroxyle et époxy. La pellicule réticulée obtenue à partir de la composition de revêtement de la présente invention est utile comme composition de revêtement de finition pour les automobiles.
