A B S T R A C T CURING OF PLASTISOL MATERIAL A thermoplastic closure, for example of polypropylene, is lined with a plastisol heated by electromagnetic radiation, either radio-frequency heating or microwave heating, to which the closure is transparent. Preferably before and optionally during the exposure to radiation the closure and plastisol combination is heated by hot air. The plastisol comprises a polymer other than polyvinyl chloride in suspension in a plasticizer. Various different plasticizers and polymers are disclosed.
