A bag for sports equipment that comprises a bag to carry shoes, pads, and/or the like incorporating a sleeve to carry long-shafted equipment for sports, such as curling, hockey, lacrosse, ringette, broomball or the like. A rubber ring stretched over the shaft of the equipment is used to control how far the shaft is able to protrude from the bottom of the sleeve. This adjusts the balance of the bag, for ease of transportation and safety. A strap, secured to the upper side of the bag, provides the means to transport the bag.
