A Curling Slide and Glide is a stand alone device made out of metal or plastic used by a person who is throwing a curling stone in the sport of curling. The devise balances the person throwing the curling stone enhancing the ability of the curler to maintain speed and balance. The device consists of a support beam used as a handle, angled upwards back to front at 30 degrees and is supported on two base plates. The front plate is attached to the main beam by a hinge that allows the support beam to be raised or lowered without lifting the front plate off the curling ice surface. The connecting hinge does not allow horizontal movement. The device is balanced on a series of eight round sliding discs attached to the underside of the base plates.
