CURLING STONE SHARPENING DEVICE ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Curling stone sharpeners such as disclosed in Canadian Patent 830,726 dated December 30, 1969 include limitations relative to adjustments, type of cutting wheel and means to follow the correct curvature of the sole portion which in that particular patent, is manually operated. The improvements of the present invention include a diamond wheel mounted for rotation and having a cam follower on the support for the cutting wheel, said follower engaging an adjustable cam so that the minimum amount of granite is removed from the stone when sharpening same thus maintaining the weight of the stone as close as possible to the original weight.
