A current conductor made of braided wire is provided for use in applications of over 10 A/mm2 density or in pulsating applications. The current conductor is formed by braiding conductor-containing groups (11); the groups (11a, 11b) intersect one another at an angle. The braid has a cross section of closed profile, and within the cross section a spacer (12) is positioned for preserving the shape of the profile and for maintaining spaced the braid portions facing one another. The angle of intersection of the mutually intersecting groups (11) is 90~.plusmn.30~.
L'invention concerne un conducteur de courant composé d'un fil tressé, qui est destiné à des applications d'une densité supérieure à 10 A/mm?2¿ ou à des applications de pulsations. On forme le conducteur de courant de l'invention en tressant des groupes contenant un conducteur (11), lesquels groupes (11a, 11b) se croisent entre eux selon un angle. La tresse possède une section transversale de profil fermé, et à l'intérieur de ladite section transversale est placé un écarteur (12) qui permet de préserver la forme du profil et de maintenir écartées les parties de la tresse qui se font face. Les groupes qui se croisent mutuellement (11) forment un angle d'intersection de 90·.plusmn.30·.
