An electrical device based on current limiting polymer elements. Specifically, current limiting polymer devices based on current limiting polymer elements having a layer of electrically conductive, resilient materials interposed between at least one electrode and a body of current limiting polymer composition, wherein the overall device resistance is minimized by enhancing the electrical contact between the at least one electrode and the body such that the contact resistance therebetween is minimized.
