The invention concerns a type 4 - 20 milliamperes or 0 - 20 milliamperes current loop, connecting an analog sensor (1) to an acquisition system (3) traversed respectively by a sensor current (lc) and an acquisition current (la). A test circuit is mounted parallel to the current loop for injecting into said current loop a superposition current (Is) which is superposed to the sensor (lc) or acquisition current (la). In a first embodiment, a variable voltage (V4) generator (7) injects the superposition current (ls) by addition to the acquisition current (la), thereby controlling a low current threshold of the acquisition system (3). In a second embodiment, a variable current regulator injects the superposition current (Is) by addition to the sensor current (lc) thereby controlling a high current threshold of the acquisition system. The acquisition system low and high threshold test is carried out without opening the current loop.

La boucle de courant du type 4 - 20 milliampères ou 0 -20 milliampères, relie un capteur analogique (1) à un système d'acquisition (3) respectivement traversé par un courant de capteur (Ic) et un courant d'acquisition (Ia). Un circuit de test et monté en parallèle à la boucle de courant pour injecter dans ladite boucle un courant de superposition (Is) qui se superpose au courant de capteur (Ic) ou d'acquisition (Ia). Selon un premier mode de réalisation, un générateur (7) de tension variable (V4) injecte le courant de superposition (Is) par addition au courant de l'acquisition (Ia), ce qui permet de contrôler un seuil bas de courant du système d'acquisition (3). Selon un deuxième mode de réalisation, un régulateur de courant variable injecte le courant de superposition (Is) par addition au courant de capteur (Ic), ce qui permet de contrôler un seuil haut de courant du système d'acquisition. Le test des seuils bas et haut du système d'acquisition est effectué sans ouvrir la boucle de courant.
