Abstract This invention relates to a curtain plate for buildings which consists of two sheet metal plates (1, 2) interconnected through an elastic layer (1.1, 2.1). A curtain plate which is fireproof and sound-insulating, which can be recycled in a simple manner and embossed without mechanical treatment is provided by that one of the two plates (1, 2) consists of zinc and an elastomer (1.1, 2.1) serves as a composite material which is vulcanized to the sheet metal plates (1, 2). (Figure 1)
