A customer order processing system includes a register terminal for sequentially transmitting customer order registered in the register terminal to a kitchen video controller, wherein the customer orders as received are sequentially displayed on a display device of the kitchen video controller. Upon completion of preparation for a customer order by a person in charge, the display of that customer order on the display device of the kitchen video controller is erased by manipulating a control switch. A time length between the reception of the customer order and the erasure thereof is measured and stored as service time data in the kitchen video controller. The register terminal totalizes the service time data transmitted from the kitchen video controller to issue a management report. With this customer order processing system, not only the service times taken for the disposition of customer orders can be managed but also speedy transmission of the customer orders to the kitchen as well as a reduction in the time taken for the preparation of the customer orders can be achieved.

Un système de traitement des commandes des clients comprend un terminal - caisse qui transmet les commandes des clients à un contrôleur vidéo situé dans les cuisines, où les commandes reçues sont affichées séquentiellement sur un écran du contrôleur vidéo. Une fois la commande du client exécutée, elle est effacée de l'écran du contrôleur vidéo au moyen d'une commande manuelle. L'intervalle de temps séparant la réception de la commande du client et son effacement est mesuré et mémorisé dans le contrôleur vidéo. Le terminal-caisse totalise les délais transmis par le contrôleur vidéo en vue de la production d'un rapport de gestion. Grâce à ce système de traitement des commandes des clients, on peut gérer le temps d'exécution des commandes, et en plus accélérer la transmission de ces dernières à la cuisine ainsi que réduire le temps de préparation.
