~ A text generation method for dynamically generating customised document in real time from a single source text comprises the steps of storing in memory a personal profile and a plurality of data conversion parameters, coding an input text with a plurality of tags, receiving an instruction from a user, reading the input text, finding tagged strings, converting values of the tagged strings according to the personal profile, substituting the tagged strings with converted values, removing the tags, and presenting the output text. The tagged text strings may be encapsulated in a pair of HTML/XML tags, encapsulated in a pair of special-character strings, or indicated by text colour, font or style. This invention relates to computing, and the principal use of the invention is for text generation.
