A door (B) of a countertop decontamination unit (A) is opened to gain access to a well (20) for receiving an anti-microbial agent carrying cup (D). A knife blade assembly (E) includes a central shaft (30) which supports a blade (40). The blade has cutting edges (46) extending in a sloped manner downward from an apex portion (42) of the blade. The blade is divided into two blade sections (44) by the shaft. The cutting edges have beveled peripheral edges which face the front of each blade section. The blades have a curvilinear configuration that defines oppositely facing upper and lower cam surfaces (50, 52). The central shaft has apertures (34a, 34b, 34c) communicating between a shaft interior passage (32) and the outside of the shaft for providing jets of fluid to the inside of the reagent cup for dissolving and flushing the reagent material from the cup. The curved configuration of the blades deflect fluid flow from the apertures into the reagent cup.
L'invention traite du problème de l'ouverture d'une porte (B) d'une unité de décontamination (A) pour avoir accès à un puits (20) qui reçoit un godet (D) contenant un agent anti-microbien. Un ensemble à lame (E) comprend une tige centrale (30) qui supporte une lame (40). La lame possède des bords tranchants (46) qui vont en s'inclinant vers le bas à partir des parties sommets (42) de la lame. La lame est divisée en deux sections (44) par la tige. Les bords tranchants présentent des bords périphériques biseautés qui font face à chaque section de lame. Les lames présentent une configuration curviligne qui définit des surfaces de cames supérieure et inférieure opposées (50, 52). La tige centrale présente des ouvertures (34a, 34b, 34c) communiquant entre un passage intérieur (32) de la tige et l'extérieur de la tige afin d'envoyer des jets de fluide vers l'intérieur du godet contenant le réactif pour dissoudre et chasser le réactif du godet. La configuration incurvée des lames fait dévier l'écoulement de fluide depuis les ouvertures pour le faire rentrer dans le godet contenant le réactif.
