CUTTING ASSEMBLY HAVING EXTENDED-LIFE REGRINDABLE DISPOSABLE KNIFES Abstract of the Disclosure A knife assembly for a disc type wood chipper includes a reversible disposable knife having a serrated back bearing surface positioned between a serrated knife clamp and a flat counterknife. The knife can be reground and advanced along the serrated clamping surface of the clamp so as to maintain a desired edge position with respect to the surface of the chipper disc and the anvil surface.
