60SD00375 ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Disclosed is a cutting insert, particularly an indexable cutting insert for mining applications. The illustrated imbodiment is an indexable cutting insert for chain saws used in the quarrying of natural stone. The cutting insert has a support member and at least one cutting member attached to the support member, the cutting member having at least one cutting surface and comprising a super abraisive material being formed such that the cutting member has a width substantially less than its depth and attached to the support member such that the width is the cutting surface.
